WHO WE ARE
The Philippine Alliance is made up of five local partner organizations, working together. At the core is the Homeless People’s Federation Philippines Inc. (HPFPI), a grassroots organization, which is also sometimes referred to as the ‘Federation’. HPFPI acts as a mobiliser, bringing together low-income community associations from cities across the Philippines, to work collectively in advocating and finding solutions to issues they face with land tenure security, access to infrastructure, housing, health and livelihood opportunities. The Alliance also includes a technical arm, the Technical Assistance Movement for People and Environment Inc. (TAMPEI); an intermediary support of HPFPI, the Philippine Action for Community-led Shelter Initiatives Inc. (PACSII); a housing development enterprise, LinkBuild Inc;, and an alternative finance facility, Community Resources for the Advancement of Capable Societies (CoReACS).
